30p Would Save a Life
The Suzy Fund began in 1975. When the parishioners of St Peter an Paul church Wakefield saw an image of a girl dying of starvation on an Ethiopian rubbish dump, the named the girl Suzy and under the leadership of Brian Hazell, a parishioner, they have now raised over £1m for third world projects. As little as 10p can give a child a hot meal, these children are lucky to have three meals in a week. We are aiming to reach this year!
The Suzy Fund is run entirely by volunteers and overheads are kept to an absolute minimum.
