About Us

We have completed another very successful year, our figures for the year are not yet audited but seem likely to be over £45,000 and approaching last years £50,000.

As usual Ss Peter & Paul’s Wakefield have been our main supporter, together with St Martin de Porres, St Cuthberts of Ackworth and our friends in the North, Durham and Milngavie Glasgow.

Our main projects have been as always Ethiopia, the Feeding Station for street children and the Fistula Hospital.

We have helped Medecins sans Frontieres in Syria, Sudan and Somalia and anywhere they call for help.

We have helped Hope & Homes for Children to take over more homes in E. Europe and convert them into small Family Units.

This year we have been able to send regular cheques to Sister Rose Carmel in Romania, and we had the unusual experience of being told that our help over the last 20 years for the village in Mozambique, had become capable of self sufficiency due to our financing girls in the village to train in hygiene, basic medicine and midwifery.

Sister Marguerite at the grand age 85 was able to thank us for over 30 years of help which has now allowed her to retire.

We have helped Fr Thomas with his Hospices and Light for the Blind in India and Abdul Ehdy in Pakistan, he provides ambulances and medical aid for the destitute and victims of the Flooding, who are still homeless two years after the floods, he is described as The Mother Theresa of Pakistan.

Thanks for your support, after 37 years we have raised £720,000.

This year we hope to reach our next milestone of £750,000 will you help us to get there?
